Here at CS Brunt we are proud to operate an HMRC bonded storage facility with our own extensive bonded warehouse. This service complements our comprehensive UK Distribution Service within our Freight Division of the EFS Group.
What does bonded storage actually mean and how does it benefit you our customers?
A bonded storage facility is a space in which the payment of duty and VAT on goods stored within can be deferred until the goods are sold and/or removed from storage.
A bonded warehouse is therefore effectively a duty-free zone, similar to a port.
There are two main advantages of storing goods in a bonded warehouse:
- Traders benefit from substantial savings through deferment of the payment of tax
- Duty need not be paid on imported goods which are intended for re-export

Fireworks & Dangerous Goods
With over twenty years’ experience in the clearance and onward delivery of fireworks, party-poppers and crackersnaps we liaise closely with the Dangerous Goods Office at Felixstowe and SCT at Southampton, ensuring all parties are kept fully informed of the shipments.
We fully appreciate how critical it is for both importers and the relevant UK authorities to have imports of fireworks cleared and delivered efficiently and speedily to comply with Health & Safety/Trading Standards requirements.
We believe our commitment to a high level of service is second to none, with 24/7 handling of firework clearances, particularly critical with vessels arriving Fridays/over the weekend.
